Meet Evonna
Executive Director & Therapist
Evonna Surrette LPC/MHSP, IMH-E® founded Refined Hope over 5 years ago while living in Lake Ozark, MO. She has been working in the mental health industry for over 10 years. Her experience includes that of private practice, residential treatment, specialized day treatment programs, community mental health as well as school counseling.
Evonna has spent her career focusing on treating infants, children & adolescents with developmental trauma and attachment related issues through providing individual services as well as family therapy. She also specializes in women's issues. Evonna is among a few clinicians who have earned the Infant Mental Health Specialist Endorsement® through the Association of Infant Mental Health in Tennessee.
Evonna has extensive experience in leading different types of counseling groups, as well as psycho-educational activities that focus on substance abuse recovery, mental health, self-image, bullying, cultural diversity and much more. Through the years she has obtained great experience working with both the client and family units. Evonna’s passion is to help her clients so that they are able to excel on their life journey.
Evonna is a Licensed Professional Counselor Mental Health Service provider in Tennessee and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri which allows her to provide telehealth therapy services to clients in both Missouri and Tennessee. She also offers coaching services to clients nation wide.
Evonna is also a board approved supervisor for the state of Tennessee. This provides ease for supervisees when completing licensure paperwork.
